Arsenal and Manchester United are in the best position to sign Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong this summer.
The Netherlands international has been exceptional for Leverkusen this term with 14 goals and 12 assists from the right wing-back role.
His form has caught the eye of elite European clubs and BILD claim that Arsenal and United are among favourites to land him.
The same source claim that Frimpong has made the decision to leave the German champions and he could be available for €40m.
His release clause is valid until the start of the European Championship and Frimpong does not have much time to choose his next club.
Arsenal are well covered in the right-back position with Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber in their ranks.
In comparison, United have Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but the latter is expected to depart for a cut-price fee soon.
We believe United should be front-runners to sign him even if they are unable to qualify for any European competition.
