Chelsea monitoring Hiroshi Kiyotake
Chelsea have been monitoring young Japanese international attacking midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake. The 23-year-old impressed last year in his maiden season with German side FC Nuremburg; Chelsea are hoping to fight off the interest of Borussia Dortmund for the player.
Since Kiyotake moved to Germany he has taken full responsibility in the creative department for Nuremburg. The 23-year-old enjoyed a sterling first season that saw him make 10 assists and has been labelled one of the most formidable crossers of the ball in the league.
Chelsea scouts are ready to sell Marko Marin back to Germany this summer and are looking for a possible replacement, it appears that Kiyotake might be available if the Blues can match the reported 16 million Euro release clause in his contract.
