Romeo Beckham joins the Arsenal Youth Academy
Reports in England suggest that Romeo Beckham, the son of former England International midfielder David Beckham has joined the Arsenal Youth Academy.
The 10-year-old youngster was spotted at the Emirates Stadium last week, during the Gunners' North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
Romeo who is a big Arsenal fan, revealed his dream of playing for Arsenal one day in his Instagram page. He wrote : “Gunna play for Arsenal one day!”
According to the Daily Express, Romeo got an opportunity to meet the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger after the game, who offered him a shirt with his name on the back.
England legend David Beckham was pleased by how Arsene Wenger had treated his son after the derby.
He said : “I have two sons who support Manchester United and one who is an Arsenal fan. I took him to an Arsenal game and Arsene Wenger treated him so well and gave him a shirt with his name on the back.”
