Liverpool front-runners to sign Adam Lallana

Liverpool are considered as strong favourites to land the signature of Southampton midfield star Adam Lallana this summer.

The Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on adding top-class midfield recruits during the summer transfer window, and considers the talented England international as a top transfer target.

 

Manchester United were believed to be tracking the 25-year-old, with a view to a summer offer for his services, but high-flying Liverpool are now at odds of 2/1 by Paddy Power to sign up the Saints skipper for the next campaign.

 

The Reds' pursuit could also be aided by the fact that they will play in the Champions League next season.
