Chelsea midfielder hints at La Liga stay

Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu has insisted that he is hopeful of remaining with Valencia beyond the current season.

The Spaniard who joined Los Che on a season-long deal from the Blues last summer,  has managed to prove his worth to the La Liga outfit in spite of suffering a knee injury.

 

The former Barcelona man has now revealed that he is keen on staying with Valencia next season, and it would depend on what his parent club have in hand for him.

 

“I’m very happy here. The latest we know is that Valencia are happy with me and they would like me to stay,” Romeu said.“I’m very comfortable here, but we’ll have to wait until the end of the season. I still have a year on my contract and anything can happen. It’s up to Chelsea to decide.”
