Roma eye move for Jan Vertonghen
Roma are apparently lining up a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen.
Vertonghen is believed to be unsettled at Spurs in the past few months, and has recently revealed of his intention to make way from the North London club, should they fail to qualify for European football next season.
Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini has recently made an enquiry about the Belgian's transfer situation, and is hopeful of luring him to the Stadio Olimpico with the prospect of playing in the Champions League next term.
Vertonghen joined Spurs from Dutch giants Ajax in the summer of 2012.
