Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof has emerged as a top target for Galatasaray ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Sweden international has been a key player at the heart of the United defence, but his future is uncertain beyond this season.

His current contract was extended to June next year with a clause, but the club are yet to open talks with him over a new long-term deal.

Lindelof may need to be convinced without guaranteed minutes next term and Galatasaray could try to take advantage over the same.

The Turkish giants are on course to win the Super Lig title. They are currently four points ahead of arch-rivals Fenerbahce at the top.

Despite this, they have high ambitions for the next campaign and want to make progress in Europe too with more experienced and quality players.

The club have been following Lindelof's situation for a while and could tempt United to sell him for around €20 million this summer.
