Todibo to Man Utd this summer?

Manchester United are set to revive their interest in signing French defender Jean-Clair Todibo at the end of the season.

The Red Devils were keen on landing the Nice centre-back last summer, but they could not afford his services in the end.

United were planning to move for Todibo after parting ways with Harry Maguire, but the latter decided to stay put at the club.

Todibo was also unsure over the transfer due to the lack of guaranteed game time, but the scenario could be much different this time.

United are looking for a replacement for Raphael Varane who is expected to head for the exit door when his contract expires on June 30.

Todibo is currently owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is also the controlling stake owner at United after his 25 per cent investment.

This should put them in pole position to land his services, provided the asking price of £40 million is met during the summer.
