Eto'o wants Inter, not Spurs

According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, FC Barcelona striker has rejected an offer from Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur in the summer in favour of joining Inter Milan.

The Cameroonian international striker was said to be on his way to Spurs. The north London were (and are) ready to meet Barca's demand of €40 million for the player but it was thought that Eto'o demands of getting paid more than €7 million per year was too much for Spurs.

But it has now been surfaced that Eto'o actual reason of rejected the Spurs offer is that he wants to move to Inter Milan this summer. La Repubblica quotes the player as saying to Spurs:

"I cannot go to London, I am joining Inter."

Eto'o was not among the sell-out list of Barcelona until the punultimate weekend of the season when he was booed by the Blaugrana supporters against Real Mallorca in a Spanish league match at Camp Nou.
