ALEX GOODCHILD

Alex has had a passion for playing and watching football for as long as he can remember. Growing up in London, he was within short distance of his favorite club, Arsenal, and spent the majority of his weekends watching the Gunners at Highbury. From the age of 13 until 17, Alex travelled to every stadium in the Premiership to watch his favorite team in action.

Alex keeps a close eye on football from all over the world. In 2008, Alex moved to Hong Kong and more recently to Japan; he is now following the Asian soccer leagues every weekend, as well as his beloved Arsenal, despite different timezones keeping him up until the early hours.

Aside from football, Alex enjoys playing ping pong, poker, cooking, reading and is currently studying Japanese.

ABHILASH MANAPATT - Writer

Abhilash has been working with the eyefootball team for three years. With a strong focus on all European leagues, but he is not afraid to admit that Spain is his favorite to watch, you will often see Abhilash sharing his views in regular contributions to the site. Abhilash enjoys sports and creative writing, and is a search marketing expert.

SAMUEL TURNBULL - Writer

Samuel is an American-born "soccer" fan, who spends the majority of his time reading and watching the MLS. In 2010, he moved to Wales to study a journalism degree, and joined the eyefootball team in October of 2011. Samuel supports the MetroStars and in English football, he is a Liverpool fan.

KETAN PATEL - Head Editor

Ketan recently swapped Goal.com for eyefootball.com this year as the Head Editor of our website. He brings a wealth of experience, having worked within the sports journalism industry for over 14 years. Ketan's favourite team is Tottenham Hotspur, and he catches almost every game in the Premier League.
