Barcelona to beat Real Madrid to the signing of Manchester United star?
Barcelona are reportedly planning to hijack Real Madrid's attempt to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
The 26-year-old's future has been a regular discussion point in the past month and reports have indicated that he is prepared to push through a summer exit.
Owing to this, Los Blancos have been heavily fancied to acquire his signature in the past few days but Tuttosport claims that the Blaugrana may rival them with a £130m offer on the table.
The Spanish champions have already signed Frenkie de Jong to bolster the midfield this summer and they are likely to announce the signings of Antoine Griezmann and Matthijs de Ligt in the near future.
The summer spending spree is expected to coincide with potential departures to balance the books, and the likes of Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho could be heading through the exit door.
Pogba currently has two more years remaining on his current contract with the option of another 12 months. There has, however, been no progress in terms of extending his deal amid the uncertainty over his future.
