Bakayoko set for Anfield?

PSV Eindhoven's winger Johan Bakayoko is wanted by Liverpool, as the Premier League side prepare for life after Jurgen Klopp with a transfer swoop for the 21-year-old Belgium international. The player is available for a fee of around 45 million euros, according to reports from the Netherlands.



Arne Slot is set to take over at Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp departs, and has made a handful of Eredivisie talents at the top of his transfer wishlist. 21-year-old Bakayoko has already appeared ten times for Belgium's national team, and since making his debut in 2022, Bakayoko has gone on to player 82 times for the Eindhoven outfit and 21 goals.

Liverpool could let Mohamed Salah leave the club and furthermore, Darwin Nunez has been linked with a transfer to Barcelona. Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo are two names that will stay put next season, otherwise the Anfield giants could rebuild their attack ahead of next season.

Bakayoko is known to be eager to move to England, and talks to move to Liverpool will begin as soon as Slot is confirmed as the club's new manager.
